CRCU is a non-governmental, not-for-profit organization that is dedicated to promoting a just and nurturing environment where young children and their families, especially those in Liberia’s rural communities, can thrive. At CRCU, we draw strength and inspiration from children's resilience, seeing every step a child takes forward as a victory we proudly share. Equity and child well-being are emphasized at the core of our vision and mission, expanding access to high-quality, inclusive early childhood development (ECD) and education programs. We believe the early years are the cornerstone of lifelong growth, learning, and meaningful societal participation.
Our ECEAQ program supports children and families by removing barriers to early learning and promoting quality education access in rural communities.
This program integrates health promotion and nutrition education with early learning, and supports feeding programs and access to clean water and sanitation (WASH).
We protect children from all forms of abuse and violence, strengthen community safeguards, and promote gender-based violence awareness and prevention, especially for girls.
